Vintage lace headband

A refined way to wear lace, designed as a subtle finishing detail rather than a statement. Each headband is handmade in Scotland using reclaimed vintage lace, created in very small numbers depending on the textiles available.

The design uses two complementary pieces of lace. A wider section sits softly across the top of the head, tapering into a narrower lace tie at the back. This creates a more fluid, comfortable fit and a neater finish than a single straight band, allowing the lace to follow the shape of the head naturally.

Delicate by nature, but thoughtfully constructed, these pieces are intended to feel considered and elegant rather than decorative for decoration’s sake.

Styling notes

Wear with dark knitwear, tailoring or simple denim to offset the softness of the lace. Can also be worn tied at the neck as a delicate choker-style
