Refund policy

Returns & Refunds

We accept returns for a full refund (excluding made-to-order and sale items) if returned within 14 days of reciept of purchase, with tags still attached and the item in original condition.

Made-to-order items are bespoke and non-refundable, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Sale items are final and non-refundable.

Due to the nature of vintage and pre-loved pieces, some may show minor signs of wear. All items are sold as seen — we’re happy to provide extra measurements or photos on request before purchase.


Missing Parcels

If your order hasn’t arrived, please email us within 1 month of dispatch. We’re unable to refund or replace items reported missing after this time. You’ll receive a dispatch email when your order is sent (please check your junk/spam folder too).

How to Return an Item

  1. Email hello@secondstories.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return.

  2. Once confirmed, you have 14 days to post the item back.

  3. Items must be unworn and returned in original condition.

Please note:
– Returns are your responsibility until they reach us.
– We recommend using a tracked or signed-for postal service and keeping your proof of postage.
– Return postage costs are not covered.
