Gigi bejewelled bomber- PRE-ORDER

A little bit utility, a little bit razzle-dazzle.

Meet Gigi. A deadstock cotton twill bomber given a rather fabulous second life with hand-sewn, jewelled embellishments.

Personally sourced and reimagined by Nicci, with individually sourced trims and carefully considered placement, before being hand-stitched by a talented local maker. A little bit vintage, a little bit unexpected and very Second Stories.

Made from a lovely structured cotton twill, similar to the fabric you’d find on a classic mac, Gigi has a relaxed, boxy silhouette, funnel neck and adjustable internal drawcord so you can cinch in the hem for a puffier bomber shape or leave it loose and relaxed.

Fully lined and light to midweight, she’s just the thing for those in-between autumn days. Throw her on with your favourite jeans and a simple tee. Sometimes a jacket really does do all the work.

• Upcycled deadstock cotton twill in a warm camel shade
• Individually sourced, hand-sewn jewelled embellishments
• Embellishment placement designed by Nicci, stitched locally
• Relaxed, boxy silhouette with funnel neck
• Zip front with popper fastenings at the neck and hem
• Internal adjustable elasticated drawcord with toggles to cinch the hem
• Decorative, embellished cuff tabs with popper fastenings
• Box pleats beneath the back shoulder yoke for ease of movement
• Side pockets and fully lined interior
• Unembellished back for comfortable sitting without catching the trims
• Light to midweight, perfect for autumn layering

SIZE & FIT

One size, designed to look a little different depending on your usual UK size.

• UK 8–10: Generously oversized and slouchy
• UK 10–12: Relaxed, oversized fit
• UK 12–14: Classic, relaxed bomber fit
• UK 16: Neater, closer fit
• UK 18: Potentially snug, please check measurements

Garment measurements:

• Pit to pit: 25” / 63.5 cm
• Centre back length (from back of collar to hem): 24” / 61 cm

We recommend comparing these measurements against a jacket you already own, particularly if you prefer a roomier fit or plan to wear chunky knitwear underneath.

A LITTLE NOTE ON GIGI

Just two Gigi Bombers have been created (and I’m planning on keeping one for myself)! 

Each jacket has been individually reworked using deadstock and beautiful jewelled trims sourced in limited quantities.

We’re hoping to offer more on a pre-order basis, but the beauty of working with found materials is that we can’t always guarantee an exact repeat. If Gigi becomes available for pre-order, the overall design will remain the same, but individual embellishments may vary from those pictured depending on what we’re able to source.

No mass production, no endless repeats. Just something a bit special, given a second life.
