The Valentine Maxi dress in Claret Velvet

Our newest addition to the Made in the UK collection, the Valentine Dress is crafted in London by skilled makers and finished to an exceptional standard. Cut in sumptuous cotton velvet, this is the final pair available in this make – once they leave us, this velvet offering will not return.

Designed to be a forever piece, the Valentine features a square-cut neckline, an empire waist, and a beautifully flattering A-line skirt that moves effortlessly. And yes, it has pockets.

Thoughtfully constructed for comfort, confidence, and long wear, the neckline and under-bust seams include subtle elastic for a flexible, gap-free fit, while the bust panel is fully lined for support – whether you wear a bra or choose not to. Sleeves are carefully bagged, and the pockets are lined in velvet for a luxurious finish inside and out.

Made from limited ex-designer cotton velvet in deep rich claret, a  rare run of fabric now at its end, available in Size 12–14 and Size 14–16, both in our standard length.

Jules is a UK size 8, 5'11" and wears a 8-10 Standard length Maxi. Standard maxi; 129 cm from the highest shoulder point to hem.

As all items are hand made and hand cut please allow a 5% tolerance of measurements.
