Meet The Party Pants, our new made-to-order silk trousers, designed to bring a little joy to getting dressed.

Individually made in Scotland from a carefully curated selection of beautiful 100% silks, each pair is cut in a relaxed, gently sculpted silhouette with a softly rounded leg that tapers towards the ankle.

Featuring oversized patch pockets, a comfortable elasticated waistband and a matching silk drawcord, made and finished from the same fabric, they’re equal parts statement and everyday ease.

The beauty is in the fabric. Rich, expressive colours, gorgeous natural lustre and just enough structure to create a beautiful shape without feeling overly formal.

From warm Toffee and deep Cacao to Olive, Cobalt, Electric Pink and Mulled Wine, we’ve selected nine beautiful colourways, each with its own personality.

Wear them with a white tee and trainers, a favourite oversized knit and flats, or dress them up with a silk blouse and heels. They’re called Party Pants, but we fully intend to wear ours everywhere.

A little about the silks

Not all silks are created equal, and part of the beauty of The Party Pants is that each colourway has its own individual texture, finish and personality.

We’ve selected a combination of silk taffeta, silk dupion and slubby silk dupion. All are 100% silk, but the different weaves give each fabric a slightly different look and feel.

Silk Taffeta

Our silk taffetas have a smoother, more uniform surface, with a beautiful crispness and subtle sheen.

Lightweight but naturally structured, taffeta holds the shape of the trousers particularly well, creating a slightly more sculptural silhouette.

It has a distinctive, almost papery crispness and a gentle rustle as it moves. It’s expressive and glamorous, but styled simply, can feel wonderfully modern and relaxed.

Some of our taffetas are two-tone, meaning different coloured yarns are woven together to create a subtle shot effect. This gives the fabric incredible depth, with the colour shifting slightly depending on how the light catches it.

Silk Dupion

Silk dupion has a more textured, organic appearance, with natural variations in the yarn creating subtle irregularities across the surface.

It still has that gorgeous silk lustre and enough body to hold the shape of the trousers, but with a slightly softer, less uniform appearance than taffeta.

We particularly love dupion for everyday dressing. It has a beautiful richness and character that makes even the simplest outfit feel special.

Slubby Silk Dupion

Some of our colourways feature a more pronounced slubby finish.

Slubs are the little thicker sections and irregularities in the silk yarn that create a beautifully uneven texture throughout the weave.

These are a natural characteristic of the fabric, rather than faults, and are part of what makes slubby silk so lovely. Each piece has subtle variations in texture and the way the light reflects across its surface.

If you prefer a smoother, crisper and more polished finish, we’d recommend one of the silk taffetas. If you love a more tactile, textured fabric with plenty of character, the dupions are particularly beautiful.

A little note on natural silk: All our fabrics are woven from 100% silk, but their individual weaves mean they will look, feel and drape slightly differently. Natural slubs, subtle variations in texture and some creasing are all part of the character of these beautiful fabrics.

Fit & sizing

The Party Pants are designed with a relaxed, gently sculpted silhouette, generous room through the hips and thighs, and a softly rounded leg that tapers towards the hem.

The waistband is elasticated for comfort, with a matching self-fabric silk drawcord for additional adjustment.

Standard inside leg: 27 inches / approximately 69 cm.

Designed to sit around the ankle on someone approximately 5’5”–5’6”, depending on individual leg proportions, with a more cropped finish on taller wearers.

Prefer a different length?

As each pair is made especially for you, we’re happy to accommodate a shorter or longer inside leg where possible.

Simply leave your preferred inside leg measurement in the notes section at checkout.

Our silks are woven, non-stretch fabrics with no give. Although the silhouette is naturally relaxed, we recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes or unsure which size to choose.

If you’re unsure about sizing, we’d recommend comparing the finished garment measurements below with a similar pair of non-stretch trousers you already own and love the fit of.

Each pair of Party Pants is individually made to order in Scotland, allowing us to offer a beautiful selection of fabrics and colours without producing unnecessary stock.

Simply select your preferred colour and UK size from the options above.

Our standard inside leg is 27 inches. If you’d prefer your trousers a little shorter or longer, simply leave your preferred inside leg measurement in the notes section at checkout.

Please allow approximately 3 weeks for your trousers to be made and dispatched.
