A little bit 70s, a little bit heirloom, and completely unique.

Edie takes its shape from a vintage 1970s smock blouse, with a softly dipped square neckline, a short, full body and beautifully gathered sleeves.

Made in the UK from deadstock cotton gingham in Brown or Navy, each blouse is finished with embroidery at the neckline, cuffs and hem, alongside panels cut from genuine vintage embroidered linens sourced especially for this project.

And that means no two are quite the same. Each piece is a one off 

The vintage fabrics vary from piece to piece, so the embroidery placement and details on your blouse will be entirely individual. We love that each one has already had a life before becoming part of something new.

The square neckline sits lower at the front, framing the collarbone beautifully, while the body is intentionally full and smock-like. The length is slightly cropped rather than long, making it particularly good with higher-waisted trousers, denim and skirts.

Wear it now with jeans, cargos or a long skirt, then layer it underneath chunky cardigans and knits when winter arrives. There has already been so much love for these and, after all the work that has gone into sourcing the vintage fabrics and bringing them to life, we really hope you love them as much as we do.

FIT & SIZING

Cass is designed to have a short, full and relaxed smock fit. Take your usual size for the intended silhouette.

If you’d prefer slightly less volume through the body, you may be able to size down. Just bear in mind that the fit will become closer through the bust and underneath the arms, particularly if you have a fuller bust, so we recommend checking the garment measurements in images before choosing
