We’ve named this piece the Fionn Beanie, from the Gaelic word for “fair” or “bright.” It’s also the name of Fionn mac Cumhaill, the legendary warrior of Gaelic mythology — a fitting reference for a piece woven with bold stripes and quiet strength.
Knitted on the west coast of Ayrshire, the Fionn Beanie is a bold yet timeless piece for colder days. Crafted in a mix of striking stripes, it brings together Scottish and Italian yarns - some new, some surplus — in line with our zero-waste policy. By using surplus yarns sourced from other brands, we’re helping reduce fashion’s impact and giving beautiful materials a new life.
Every beanie is slightly unique, as the yarn combinations vary from piece to piece. Quantities are naturally limited by the yarns available — once they’re gone, they’re gone.the photos show both sides of the hat so you can see the full stripe all the way around.
