Levi’s 501s are THE iconic jean style, created in 1873 this all American style has a straight leg.  This is made in the USA, which is a mark of higher quality standard. A luxurious cream colour with copper rivets and iconic leather back patch and red tab.  This style is a rigid 100% cotton with a button fly. Cut length/ hem further as desired

Fit

Best fit UK 12 for a “true to fit size”,  would also work for smaller sizes if you if you want a more boyfriend style looser fit. They should fit closely over the hips and bottom and very top of thighs and loosen off from there. 

When buying vintage Levi’s 501 I suggest a back patch size of 32/33 for a current UK size 12, if you are curvier on the bottom go for the larger of the two back patch sizes.
