Bette is a stunning leopard printed shirt and pleated midi skirt set. The soft fine fabric has a gentle drape and feels lovely next to the skin, the shirt has very thin shoulder pads attached inside but these could be easily cut out if not liked.
This two piece is a classic design that looks as relevant now as it did in the 80’s when it was originally created; it is from one of our favourite British designers Marion Donaldson and steps away from her more traditionally whimsical looks. I particularly like the fact the traditional leopard print has been reversed here to a softer charcoal base.
The skirt has small elasticated portions at the sides with a flat waistband (more flattering in design but useful for those bigger lunches/ pmt days!) and is fully anded with pockets. The shirt is designed to be a relaxed fit and has very slight shoulder padding attached to inner which could be cut out. Details include small side vents at the hem of the shirt which work well if you want to wear it untucked and loose and the buttons are dark shell.
The Bette co-ord offers a multitude of styling opportunities and has so much potential to tell its Second Story.
Bette likes chocolate brownies, and she is addicted to Dessert Island discs
