Rare 80s Diane Freis printed top in a perfect summer sorbet of a colour palette. A shorter length boxy top with drawstring hem (to allow adjustable fit) and balloon sleeves. This top is typical Diane Freis expert print mixing, in the most optimistic of colour palettes.
Diane Freis was a Californian designer who started her own label in the late 1970's whilst still studying at UCLA, she soon shot to fame and prominence and her eponymic label was worn by many celebrities including Diana Ross (an early supporter).
How will you tell Diane's Second Story?
Diane's lines were always marketed as one size, in fact she stressed the importance "of making a one size dressing that allows the freedom of fit in our daily schedules of health programmes one day and over-indulgence the next". I love this philosophy and feel it can't help but be perfectly suited to our lockdown lifestyles.
