Stunning green tweedy trapeze style coat from British heritage brand Aquascutum. The fabric is a beautiful green based wool but has numerous other flecks of colour in it and is offset by rich tortoiseshell buttons and a chocolate lining.
The cut is a trapeze shape which has a lovely effect of swirling around the body as you walk (see photos). There are slight inbuilt shoulder pads under the lining, which add structure but not too much bulk to the top of the silhouette. Two functional pockets to the front and a cute collar, sleeves are bracelet length so hit just above the wrist.. This is definitely a unique and extremely high quality coat which will I doubted that be a key wardrobe anchor piece forever.
Measures; armpit to armpit 23 inches, length 47inches, sleeve length measured from underarm to sleeve cuff 13 inches.
